Perché ci credo (“Because we believe in it”) was born in Lecce at the end of 2007. After more than twenty years as a consultant for Italian food companies, Enrico De Lorenzo turned his research and development laboratory into a production company, to bring the authentic, wholesome flavours of his Salento to the table.

The approach is artisanal: innovative recipes in the furrow of the Mediterranean tradition, made without preservatives, additives or colourings, so that every jar keeps the taste of fresh produce. The name says it all: a company built on conviction, one recipe at a time.

The range covers ready-to-use tomato sauces in many flavours, including organic sauces and the traditional home-style sauces of Salento, passata and tomatoes from Salento, bruschetta and bruschettone toppings, sauces and pestos, vegetables preserved in oil and 100% Saragolla wheat pasta.
