Organic aubergine (9%) and pepper (8%) added a little at a time to an organic onion soffritto, then organic Roma-type tomato (69%, Italian origin), organic white wine, basil and salt, cooked slowly in organic extra virgin olive oil. Sweet and summery. Certified organic; no preservatives, thickeners or added sugar.
For restaurants and chefs. A vegetable pasta sauce with organic credentials and no prep: toss with penne or mezze maniche for one minute and finish with olive oil and grated cheese. It also fills a vegetable lasagne or tops an organic focaccia. Three portions per jar suit à la carte service.
