Luisa Pantaleo Agricoltura Biologica

Luisa Pantaleo's farm grew out of family tradition and respect for the work of those who came before. Her guiding principle is respect for the land, “the first source of learning”, and from the very beginning she chose strictly organic farming, with a focus on quality, traceability and the protection of local products.

Today the estate covers more than 150 hectares at Speziale di Fasano, in the province of Brindisi, bordering the cycle paths of the Dune Costiere Regional Natural Park, between Torre Canne and Torre San Leonardo. Crops rotate with the natural cycles so as not to exhaust such a generous land: tomatoes, cereals and legumes, early and summer figs, zucchini, aubergines, watermelons, peppers, peas and salad greens.

In 2016 the farm opened a greenhouse to raise its own tomato plants and an olive mill to press its olives into certified organic extra virgin olive oil, together with a vegetable processing workshop. Here passata and sauces, preserves in oil, jams, creams and pestos are made: no middlemen, only ingredients the farm grows, harvests and processes itself. Visitors can taste them all at the Agrobistrot on the farm.
