For small restaurants, cafés and delis the 3 litre tin is easier to handle than a 5 litre one and is used up while the oil is at its best. Refill table bottles from it, use it for cooking and dressings, and reserve some for finishing grilled vegetables and fish. The tin shields the oil from light, which helps it keep its aroma.
Specs 3 L (2748 g), case of 4, organic, unfiltered, Puglia (Italy)
The 3 litre tin is a good step up for customers who finish a bottle every week and want a better price per litre without committing to 5 litres. It shows the producer's whole range at the shelf, from 250 ml to 5 litres, and it suits customers who buy oil as a seasonal purchase after the new harvest.

Organic extra virgin olive oil from Puglia, in a 3 litre tin.
The 3 litre tin sits between the bottles and the large tin. The oil comes from the farm's own groves in the Valle d'Itria, in Puglia, both centuries-old trees and traditional orchards. The blend is Leccino, Picholine, Coratina, Oliana, Arbosana and Cima di Melfi. The olives are picked from October onwards when the skin turns slightly pink, milled within a few hours in the farm's own mill with a two-phase continuous system, cold extracted and left to settle naturally. The oil is unfiltered and certified organic by Bioagricert. In the glass it is light green with golden reflections; the taste is sweet and slightly peppery, with a delicate hint of tomato.

Luisa Pantaleo's organic farm extends over 150 hectares at Speziale di Fasano, Puglia, along the Dune Costiere Regional Park. Here the family grows, harvests and processes everything: tomato passata and sauces, organic olive oil from its own mill, preserves, jams and legumes.
