Long hot chillies are picked fresh, selected and washed, then sprinkled with salt to draw out their water. They are cut and covered with organic extra virgin olive oil, then pasteurised, with no added preservatives. The declared ingredients are organic hot chilli, organic extra virgin olive oil, organic apple vinegar and salt. On opening the jar releases the aroma of the oil and the sharp scent of chilli; the taste is lively and intensely hot.
For restaurants and chefs. A spoonful of these chillies adds heat and character exactly where the chef wants it. Stir them into legume soups and pasta e fagioli, finish grilled and roast meats, or add them to tomato sauces and vegetable sides. On pizza they work as a topping after baking.
