Description
Organic extra virgin olive oil from Puglia, in a 5 litre tin for the kitchen.
The 5 litre tin is the format for kitchens and for customers who buy oil for the whole season. The oil comes from the farm’s own groves in the Valle d’Itria, in Puglia, both centuries-old trees and traditional orchards. The blend is Leccino, Picholine, Coratina, Oliana, Arbosana and Cima di Melfi. The olives are picked from October onwards when the skin turns slightly pink, milled within a few hours in the farm’s own mill with a two-phase continuous system, cold extracted and left to settle naturally. The oil is unfiltered and certified organic by Bioagricert. In the glass it is light green with golden reflections; the taste is sweet and slightly peppery, with a delicate hint of tomato.
For restaurants and chefs. A 5 litre tin brings a single-farm organic oil into everyday cooking at a sustainable cost per litre. Decant it into smaller bottles for the line and the tables, use it for sautéing, roasting and frying at moderate temperatures, and keep the best of it for raw finishing. The tin protects the oil from light; keep it closed and in a cool place between uses.
For specialty and Italian stores. The 5 litre tin speaks to customers who already know the oil and want to stock up for the year, a habit common in Italian families. It is a planned purchase, and the price per litre is the argument to show. Suggest it after customers have tried the 250 ml or 500 ml bottle, or offer it on order to restaurants among your clients.
