Description
A soft Salento blend in the 750 ml bottle, for daily cooking and dressing.
Agro, a family farm near Lecce with four generations in olive growing, presents its mild Dolce blend as the everyday oil. In the blend, Leccino brings softness and Favolosa a fresh, grassy fruitiness; the taste is balanced, with a light pungency. The olives, harvested in Italy and picked still green, are washed, milled within hours and cold extracted by mechanical means only, then stored under nitrogen at controlled temperature. Dark cylindrical glass bottle.
For restaurants and chefs. The 750 ml bottle is a practical working oil for kitchens that want one extra virgin olive oil from prep to plate. Use it for salads and vegetables, in fish marinades, on soft cheeses, or to finish risotto and vegetable soups where a peppery oil would dominate. Its light pungency lets it stay in the background. Per dose it costs less than small bottles, which counts for a house dressing.
For specialty and Italian stores. This is the bottle for customers who use olive oil daily and prefer a gentle taste. A mild Apulian oil from a named family farm is a clear alternative to anonymous blends. It sells next to pasta, rice and tinned tomatoes as a regular staple, which supports repeat visits. The 250 ml bottle of the same oil can serve as the trial size.
Specs: 750 ml, case of 12, shelf life 18 months, Puglia (Italy).
