Everyday Salento IGP rosé from Negroamaro, one night on the skins, dry with a light bitter finish. 750 ml bottle.

Description

A one-night rosé: Negroamaro left on its skins for six to seven hours before pressing.

Tinente Rosé is a Salento IGP from 100% Negroamaro grown on Guyot around Copertino. The grapes are softly crushed and stay in contact with the skins for a single night, while the winemakers watch the tank to choose the moment. Fermentation runs at 18-20°C and the wine rests about three months in stainless steel. The producer describes a cherry-pink colour with coral highlights, a delicate fruity nose, and a dry, harmonious palate with a pleasant light bitterness. Serve at 12°C, opened just before drinking.

For restaurants and chefs. The producer suggests Italian antipasti, pasta, fish soups, baked fish and white meats, which covers most of a trattoria menu with one bottle. It works with fritto misto, pasta with tomato and basil and chicken cooked in the oven. At its price it is a sensible rosé by the glass all year.

For specialty and Italian stores. Rosé from Negroamaro is a Salento tradition, and Tinente offers it at the line’s everyday price. It is a natural seller for picnics, outdoor dinners and the warm months. Customers who like the Tenuta Paraida Rosato can choose it for daily drinking, keeping the estate’s rosé on the table.
