Description
All’Alba, a Grillo DOC from western Sicily, vintage 2024.
A white wine from the Grillo grape and a direct expression of Sicily. The nose shows citrus, white flowers and light tropical hints; the palate is lively and balanced, with a pleasant savoury note and a slim but present structure. This DOC white is made by Azienda Agricola Mirto in Mazara del Vallo, in the province of Trapani.
For restaurants and chefs. A by-the-glass white that works from aperitivo to main course. Serve it chilled with fish, shellfish and seafood, and with light first courses, seasonal vegetables and fresh cheeses. Its savoury finish suits raw fish and fried starters, and its price leaves room for a good margin on the list.
For specialty and Italian stores. Grillo is the signature white grape of western Sicily and an easy recommendation for customers who like fresh, aromatic whites. The DOC status and the clear tasting notes give staff a short pitch. It pairs with the farm’s olive patè and oils for a Sicilian gift box or an aperitivo bundle.
