Description
The lighter, golden counterpart of the Primitivo ring, made with white wine.
Soft wheat flour, sugar, white wine at 20%, olive oil, baking powder and vanillin. The white wine keeps the crumb pale and the flavour delicate, with the sugar crust giving most of the sweetness. The dough is plant-based, with olive oil as its fat.
For restaurants and chefs. Their gentle flavour makes them a versatile petit four for coffee service, tea or a glass of moscato. They also work at breakfast service alongside cappuccino. Crushed, they make a crisp topping for fruit salads or panna cotta.
For specialty and Italian stores. White wine tarallini appeal to customers who find the red wine version too pronounced, so stocking both covers more tastes. The plant-based recipe and familiar ring shape make them an easy everyday purchase. They fit well in a mixed Puglia gift box.
