Description
A 300 g pack of tubettini, soup pasta in organic durum wheat from Puglia and Basilicata.
Made in Altamura by Pasta Orobio from organic durum wheat semolina and water, with native wheat varieties grown by certified farms in Puglia and Basilicata. The dough goes through bronze dies and dries slowly at low temperature. Before processing, the semolina undergoes laboratory checks, and the pasta shows no detectable mycotoxins (below 20 ppb). Cooking time 8 minutes, according to the producer. Store in a cool, dry place.
For restaurants and chefs. Tubettini go further than their weight suggests: the 300 g pack gives about three main-course portions of 100 g, and more in soup. A small kitchen can use the pack for a daily minestrone, a lentil soup, or a clam and tubettini broth. Add them to the pot for the last 8 minutes.
For specialty and Italian stores. Smaller households find the 300 g pack the right size, and it is a simple addition to a basket of legumes or vegetables. Its modest price makes it an easy extra at the till. The organic and mycotoxin-free claims reassure parents choosing pasta for children.
Format guidance: the 300 g pack is sized for retail and small kitchens. The 500 g pack lowers the cost per portion.
