Description
Nocellara del Belice DOP in a table-size bottle.
A monocultivar extra virgin olive oil from Nocellara del Belice olives, certified DOP and made artisanally in the Sicilian hills. It has intense fruity notes, an aroma of fresh olive and a balanced taste with hints of almond. Analysis: acidity 0.17%, peroxides 5.9 meq O2/kg, total polyphenols 304 mg/kg. Made by Azienda Agricola Mirto in Mazara del Vallo, in the province of Trapani.
For restaurants and chefs. At 250 ml it is the bottle to put on the table or at the pass for finishing. A drizzle over fish carpaccio, burrata, summer salads or a bowl of legumes brings out its fresh olive aroma. It also lets a restaurant offer a named Sicilian DOP oil with bread service.
For specialty and Italian stores. The 250 ml size lowers the entry price for a DOP single-variety oil, which helps first-time buyers try it. The Nocellara del Belice name and the Sicilian origin are easy to communicate. It pairs with bread, cheeses and the Dorian 500 ml for customers who come back for more.
Format guidance: the 500 ml bottle suits kitchen use, the 250 ml table service and retail shelves, the 100 ml tastings and gift sets.
