extra virgin Olive Oil Polaris can Lt. 5 is a typical Salento oil composed of a variety of olives: Cellina di Nardò (60%) and Leccino (40%). This is a cold-pressed oil from company olives harvested in mid-October and transformed into oil within the following 4 hours, stored in stainless steel silos, and filtered before packaging.
It is a delicate oil, with a slightly fruity scent with aromatic notes of hazelnuts and almonds. Soft taste, a little bitter, and a little spicy.
Recommended pairings: Fresh salad, pinzimonio; boiled vegetables, boiled potatoes, steamed fish – Pesto, bagna caoda – Barley soup, vegetable soup – Frying – Pastry
